Praise the Lord! To each of you I say grace and peace as we enter the month of March together.
As a department committed to lifelong learning, growth, and discipleship, we take this moment to celebrate Women’s History Month. We thank God for the incredible women who continue to shape our churches, families, and communities through their leadership, scholarship, and faithful service to the Kingdom. Your impact across the Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith is both visible and deeply valued.
This month we are also excited to highlight our International Bible Study Series, led by our International Missionary President, Missionary Natacha Davis. I encourage every member of our organization to log on and participate. Invite your family and friends, gather around your television or device with your Bible open, and truly lean into this virtual learning experience. Let it become a moment of fellowship, study, and spiritual enrichment within your homes.
Additionally, we are pleased to announce that the Bishop Dr. Lonnie Greene Scholarship applications are now officially open. This scholarship represents our commitment to investing in the next generation of leaders within our church and community. We strongly encourage eligible students to apply. The application deadline is June 15, and we look forward to reviewing many outstanding candidates.
To help lead this important effort, we are honored to announce Dr. Grace Gentry as the new Scholarship Chairperson, with Elder Henry Allen serving as Co-Chair. Together, they will begin forming the scholarship committee. We invite members of the Council for Apostolic Education (CAE), as well as regional directors within the Department of Education, to consider serving on this committee.
The committee will begin meeting between April and July to review and select scholarship recipients. This is a meaningful opportunity to serve the International Church and to help empower the next generation through education and scholarship.Let us continue to grow, study, and serve together.
