About Us
Why We Exist

We exist to equip leaders, educators, and changemakers with the tools, knowledge, and community that they need to lead with purpose, serve with excellence, and create a lasting impact across generations.

Mission

Our mission is to educate, empower, and elevate individuals and institutions through Apostolic leadership development, strategic innovation, and collaborative learning—transforming communities locally and globally.

Vision

We envision a thriving network of leaders and learners who are spiritually grounded, operationally sound, and culturally equipped to shape systems, serve people, and spread truth in every sphere of influence.

We hold a core set of beliefs and values to be true in our work:

Faith & Fidelity

We uphold Apostolic truth as the foundation of all we teach, lead, and build.

Integrity

We steward people, platforms, and resources with honesty, honor, and accountability.

Collaboration
We believe in building together, across leadership roles, regions, and generations.

Excellence in Execution

We pursue quality and clarity in every initiative, curriculum, and conversation.

Innovation with Purpose

We embrace new ideas and methods that strengthen doctrine and expand our reach.

Service-Led Leadership

We lead by example, with humility, compassion, and a heart for transformation.

Accomplishments

In early 2025, the Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ (COOLJC) launched a comprehensive revitalization of its Department of Education (DOE). The goal was clear: align the department with the future needs of the global church, honor our apostolic legacy, and provide structure, direction, and accountability for long-term impact.

This effort began with the creation of an Exploratory Committee composed of Pastor Robert I. Thomas Jr. (Incoming Director of Education), Minister Sean James (Incoming Chief of Staff), and Missionary Debra N. Thomas-Brown (Incoming Senior Advisor). The committee was charged with conducting an operational audit that would fact-find, collect institutional knowledge, evaluate historical efforts, and identify gaps and opportunities across programs, staffing, communications, and strategic priorities.

In July 2025, during the 106th International Holy Convocation of the Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith, District Elder Robert I. Thomas Jr. was officially appointed Director of Education by Presiding Apostle James A. Maye and Apostle to Education Fred Rubin, marking the beginning of a new era of strategic focus, clarity, and revitalized mission for the COOLJC Department of Education.
