The Department of Education invites scholars, ministers, and practitioners to submit Apostolic papers that foster Apostolic thought, promote biblical scholarship, and strengthen the Church through informed discussion. These papers will be reviewed and, if accepted, presented for public conversation within our educational forums.

Submission Process

Eligibility

  • Open to members of COOLJC, affiliated scholars, and approved contributors.

  • Both clergy and lay members may submit, provided the work aligns with Apostolic teaching.

Format

  • 6–15 pages, double-spaced, including references.

  • Must include an abstract (250 words max) and 3–5 key discussion questions.

  • Proper citations required (biblical and academic).

Review & Approval

  • Papers will undergo review by the DOE Executive Team.

  • Authors may be asked to revise before acceptance.

  • Accepted papers will be scheduled for public dialogue sessions.

Criteria For Acceptance

Apostolic papers must:

  • Biblical Integrity: Rooted in Scripture, consistent with Apostolic doctrine.

  • Relevance: Address issues of faith, doctrine, education, leadership, or community engagement relevant to the 21st-century church.

  • Originality: Offer fresh insights, practical applications, or historical perspectives.

  • Clarity & Structure: Present a logical, well-supported argument accessible to both clergy and laity.

  • Constructive Engagement: Provoke edifying discussion without fostering division.

  • Church Growth & Sustainability: Strategies for evangelism, discipleship, and community building.
